Cherry and dried tomatoes Pizza with Burrata

10 November 2019 · Leave a Comment

Pizza Party ! If you follow me on Instagram, you might have already seen some of my Sunday night pizza. Because every Sunday’s night, that’s Pizza night ! We make our own dough and let it rise all Sunday afternoon.

Not the easiest to make a perfect pizza better than in restaurant but not so difficult either ! Follow the recipe to make your own dough. I had some herbes de Provence directly on the dough.

Once dough has risen. Roll it down with your hands only, not using a baking roll, as then all the air will be removed and your pizza isn’t gonna rise during baking process.

Garnish your pizza. Here I am proposing you a pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, dried tomato, rucola, burrata, olives and oliva oil.

The season of the tomatoes is way over. I have been wrong and still bought some few cherry tomatoes but tomato sauce is homemade with tomatoes from summer and dried tomato well you can eat it all year long.

While we garnish the pizza, I preheat oven to 220°C (convection) with a steel from Pizza Steel and till we have it, our pizzas are just incredible. That was definitely the plus we needed.

We have the pizza steel combo. In fact you get two trays to place the pizzas on top of the steel.

Now, I am making pizza all the time. I will keep you updated on that I give you some garnish ideas.

They told me the steel could be use to bake bread as well. Haven’t tried yet.
